Who I Am
The main focus of my education at the University of Central Florida was in digital media. My absolute favorite class was User Centered Design where I was introduced to the field of UX. I am thrilled to be able to combine my passion for design and aesthetics with my ever-growing interest in technology.
Since graduating, I obtained a certificate from the Google UX Design course to cement my learnings and take my knowledge of UX to the next level. I have also worked as a freelancer to help clients design their website on sites like Squarespace.
To me, the most important part of being a UX designer is making the user’s life easier and more enjoyable. We get make products more accessible to every population, which is both our privilege and responsibility as designers.
My Design POV
Every project I take on begins with curiosity: for new ideas, new perspectives, and new opportunities to connect. I’m driven by a deep appreciation for diversity, not just in aesthetics, but in perspectives and lived experiences. I believe that every person’s unique story is valuable and deserves to be reflected in the products and experiences I design. This is why I value collaboration just as much as working solo.
I care deeply about accessibility and inclusivity in design. I'm always thinking about how to make every experience easy to use, guided by WCAG principles to ensure no one is left out. I’m especially skilled at connecting with people, listening to their stories, and designing with empathy for every individual, brand, or company.
What Inspires Me
I’m fueled by curiosity and connection. I love to travel and learn from different cultures, landscapes, and ways of life. It keeps my perspective fresh and open. Music is another big part of my life; I play a handful of instruments and curate playlists, including one of songs in other languages to stay immersed in global creativity.
Fashion is my favorite form of self-expression. I’m passionate about sustainable style. There is something so rewarding in thrifting most of my wardrobe and treating each outfit like a small design project. I love how secondhand fashion invites creativity and supports more eco-conscious habits.
